The AICPA Quality Management (QM) Standards have changed the way firms approach quality. To help your firm with QM implementation, the WICPA is offering two days of interactive seminars this fall. Attend both days and save $59 on your registration by purchasing the Quality Management Bundle. Day 1 - Quality Management: A Practical Approach The first half of this course is designed to discuss the process of implementing the QM Standards. During the second half, participants will work on their firm's QM implementation process, including identifying potential quality risks, assessing those risks, developing responses and meeting the new QM documentation standards. Day 2 - Quality Management: The Next Steps Building on the foundations of the Quality Management: A Practical Approach course, this course shifts the emphasis from QM design documentation to developing the monitoring and documentation needed to clearly explain how a firm's QM systems address risk and to support the annual partner conclusion required under the standards with meaningful, defensible evidence. Overnight Accommodations A block of rooms has been reserved at the at Milwaukee Marriott West in Waukesha for the night of Monday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 20, with a room rate of $169 - $219 (plus tax).
