Boz Bostrom, Associate Professor of Accounting & Finance, College of Saint Benedict & Saint John's University

Boz Bostrom is a tenured associate professor of accounting and finance at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. He teaches a variety of accounting and finance courses, including a capstone course which has a focus on the study of business ethics. Boz also is active as a CPA, spending several hundred hours per year as an international tax and finance consultant for a Fortune 500 company in the Twin Cities. Prior to becoming a professor, Boz was a senior manager in Deloitte’s international tax practice. Boz has a particular interest in the area of ethical leadership, and has written a book about one of the most effective and ethical leaders of all-time, retired Saint John’s football coach John Gagliardi. Boz’s book, A Legacy Unrivaled: The Story of John Gagliardi will be published on September 1, 2016.

Melodi Bunting, Senior Manager, Wegner CPAs

Melodi returned to public accounting when she joined Wegner CPAs’ in 2014 after teaching in higher education, consulting with not-for-profits, and preparing consolidations and international reporting for a retailer. While at Wegner she has been developing and teaching a variety of internal and external training opportunities as well as providing advisory services for nonprofits. Melodi annually attends continuing professional education.

Tracy Foster, Professor, Maranatha Baptist University

Dr. Tracy Foster has taught accounting at Maranatha Baptist University (MBU) in Watertown, WI since 2012, where he also served as Dean for the School of Business and Chair of the Finance Committee for ten years.

Prior to MBU, Tracy served in the United States Army as a Military Intelligence Officer, Finance Officer, Instructor, Financial Analyst, and Comptroller. He was deployed twice to Afghanistan (2003-2004, 2010) and once to Kuwait (2009). Prior to his retirement as a lieutenant colonel (LTC), he served as the Budget Officer for U.S. Army Central/Third Army managing a $25 billion annual budget of Army funding for operations in the Middle East, and as a Defense Financial Analyst on the Joint Chiefs of Staff (J8) at the Pentagon. Tracy also worked with Motorola as a financial analyst and as a manager in the retail food industry. He has over 40 years of experience working with various nonprofit organizations.

Tracy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Wisconsin, a Charted Management Global Accountant (CGMA), and a Certified Defense Financial Manager with Acquisition specialization (CDFM-A). He earned his doctorate in business administration (DBA) from Walden University, an MBA from Syracuse University, and a BSBA in Accounting from Montana State University-Billings.

Originally from Montana, Tracy and his wife Laura have been married for 46 years. They enjoy seeing their two daughters and 18 grandchildren, as well as biking and enjoying outdoor activities in Wisconsin.
