Carver serves clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, financial services, professional services, insurance, retail, technology and not-for-profit. His prior experience includes serving as the national director of recruiting for an international CPA firm. Specific experience

Kristina Somers, Shareholder, Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c.

Kristina E. Somers is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Tax, Litigation and Tax-Exempt Organizations practices. She advocates on behalf of clients involved in tax controversy disputes in Wisconsin and other states. Kristina also offers planning strategies to minimize taxes for businesses operating in Wisconsin and those with multi-state operations. Over the course of her career, she has gained significant experience assisting clients in a variety of state and local tax matters including sales and use taxes, income and franchise taxes, property taxes and real estate transfer fees.

In addition to her work on tax issues at the state level, Kristina also handles matters related to federal tax, including Federal Tax Controversy and Litigation and Federal Tax Planning. She also is an experienced litigator.

Nathaniel Weber, Director, Office of Technical Services, Wisconsin Department of Revenue

Nate Weber is the Director of the Office of Technical Services in the Income, Sales & Excise Tax Division at the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. Nate and his staff are responsible for implementing legislative changes, drafting changes to administrative rules, updating tax forms, instructions, and publications, and responding to the most difficult tax questions.

Nate has been with the department for 25 years. He was a field auditor for the department for over 12 years, auditing both small and large businesses for sales and use tax, and income and franchise tax.

Nate graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and is a CPA.

Robert Misey Jr., Chair of the International Department, Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren s.c.

Robert Misey leads the International Department for the law firm of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren and is a former trial attorney for the IRS Chief Counsel in Washington, DC. Robert is Senior Counsel of the International Tax Committee for the ABA and a member of the bar in California, Wisconsin, and the District of Columbia. He is also the author of the books A Practical Guide to U.S. Taxation of International Transactions and Federal Taxation: Practice and Procedure.
