Bret Priaulx

I am a Managing Director at Deloitte, one of the largest and most reputable professional services firms in the world. I have the pleasure of serving a diverse portfolio of premier clients ranging from Fortune 500 and multinational entities to private businesses local to Wisconsin. I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and I am a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Building relationships with my clients to help navigate evolving issues is one of the most enjoyable aspects of my career at Deloitte. Drawing from my professional and educational experiences I serve clients in an Audit or Advisory capacity where I have the privilege to help management teams navigate their diverse challenges and goals.

I serve as our Wisconsin leader of Accounting, Reporting and Advisory services (non-attest) which includes multiple offerings such as technical accounting and reporting matters (complex transactions, IPOs, acquisitions, revenue recognition etc), Internal Control optimization and process transformation, analytics and risk assessment, Sustainability reporting and climate strategies, and AI strategies and education.

During audit engagements I provide an independent perspective to members of management and Board of Directors and aid in verifying appropriate accounting and reporting practices aligned with regulators such as the SEC to help protect the investing public.
