73% of employers say they use AI in hiring decisions, survey finds

A new national survey of hiring managers found that 73% of them use artificial intelligence in their hiring decisions.

The survey also found that while 52% of employers said they now use AI to support workforce planning decisions, only 51% said they were confident it is used fairly in layoffs.

Sixty-five percent of hiring managers said AI automatically rejects job applicants before they’re reviewed by humans. See more findings.
