PCAOB releases QC 1000 implementation guidance

PCAOB recently released a Q&A resource to help auditors implement QC 1000, A Firm’s System of Quality Control, ahead of its effective date on Tuesday, Dec. 15.
The Q&A is the latest in a library of materials — including videos, online knowledge checks and more — that PCAOB has released to assist firms and auditors with using the QC 1000.
The board clarified that the questions and answers do not address provisions that are the subject of proposed or conforming amendments to the QC 1000. Read more.
