Report: 60% of older workers tapped retirement savings to cover expenses

More than 60% of U.S. workers 50 or older are actively withdrawing from retirement accounts to cover everyday expenses, according to a recent report from online resume builder LiveCareer.

The Retirement Reality Check report, conducted in February with 878 U.S. workers aged 50 and older, also found that 75% of respondents delayed retirement due to stock market volatility.

Fifty-five percent of respondents cited healthcare or long-term care expenses as their top financial worry. See more key findings.
