What ethical challenges are CPAs facing today? This session will analyze real-world case studies and review rules applicable to CPAs.

This session qualifies for 1 ethics credits toward fulfilling the ethics CPE requirement for CPA license renewal in Wisconsin.

Leader Bios

Boz Bostrom, Associate Professor of Accounting & Finance, College of Saint Benedict & Saint John's University

Boz Bostrom is a tenured associate professor of accounting and finance at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. He teaches a variety of accounting and finance courses, including a capstone course which has a focus on the study of business ethics. Boz also is active as a CPA, spending several hundred hours per year as an international tax and finance consultant for a Fortune 500 company in the Twin Cities. Prior to becoming a professor, Boz was a senior manager in Deloitte’s international tax practice. Boz has a particular interest in the area of ethical leadership, and has written a book about one of the most effective and ethical leaders of all-time, retired Saint John’s football coach John Gagliardi. Boz’s book, A Legacy Unrivaled: The Story of John Gagliardi will be published on September 1, 2016.
